Another
day on the road.
One
only anecdote: kangaroos on a golf course,
close to Apollo Bay. Watch the video.
As
requested by the Virtual People, we tell you
today about our last night.
Arrived
at sunset in Melbourne, the Team goes wild.
Melbourne is definitely a great place to go
out at night.
Maya
and Theo lock up in the room... oh-oh !? Vale
calls David, an old Australian friend. Choum,
Aleko and the others decide to go out to
party. We meet at the 'Point', in Albert
Garden, on the Formula 1 circuit - next Grand
Prix takes place here in two weeks !
The
Point is a very 'hype' place. In front of the
entrance are parked Ferrari, Porsche,
Mercedes. Inside, beautiful creatures parade
with handsome boys, that could come right out
of a boys band. With our 4 days beard and our
dirty shirts, we look really like beggars ...
but we have lot of fun with that! The guys
around look at us up and down, but some girls
seem to like our attitude.
Anyway,
we must admit we feel a bit disconnected from
the social life... too much time spent on the
road.
David
takes us in another bar, less fashionable, but
still frequented by real 'foxy' girls.
A
bit tired after all these emotions, we go back
home for a chat with the Virtual People. But
after a while, Aleko - who's dreaming about
going out again to meet two American girls -
proposes an instant vote to the virtual
travelers. "You know who I am... Would
you allow me to go out to dance with other
girls?" After a quarter an hour of
discussions (and the unconditional support of
Vicio, one of the Virtual People's mainstays),
the answer is yes! At midnight, the two French
go to the 'Sub' a disco where is playing an
excellent Cuban band. The night-club is an
open-air place, 10 minutes from downtown. At
5.00 am, dancing salsa like mad, we remember
that in 2 hours, we have to go in a farm to
pick up some fruits, 200 km from Melbourne.
It's
time to go to bed, but with no one on our arm
!

A
Sunday afternoon on Melbourne's
South Bank gives a great feeling
of coolness.
Here's
how Melbourne is , and how's
Australia: big spaces, modern
buildings, light, people riding on
bicycles, tramways, musicians with
sandals and shorts, playing in the
streets. In Melbourne, I just have
a great time, wandering in the
streets, looking at the modern
architecture. I feel like I'm in
Europe.
As
Christopher says: "This city,
this country are like a fresh
wind. They stimulate and relax
yourself by the same time."
But watch the video about my
afternoon in Melbourne... Maya

Theo
spends the major part of the day
in the 'Fitzroy Gardens', close to
the Yarra River.
Then,
he says to himself: "I've
learned that laying down on the
grass and watch the sky make me
feel so good..."
