At 9.00 am, Aleko and Vale are in 'TripleJ's' studio, the main Australian radio for young people. Then, at 11.00 am, Aleko gives another interview for ABC, the national radio. Today, the Car@van travels on the air !

By the same time, Maya and Marco are in Chat with the Virtual People. Your suggestions and comments are really important for us; in many Chats, we feel like we really constitute a unique entity, You, the Mind, We, the Body. Thus, with a chill, we discover your vote, Voting Form n°11. Explore: pick up fruits in an Australian farm - Continue: go towards South East, on the Great Ocean Road, towards Melbourne. A bit tiring but great, well done !

We'll wait for this week-end to pick-up the fruits, because it's already time to go back on the road at the moment. Leaving is like a drug for us, it's amplifying the present instant.

The Team irrupts in a shop selling theatre articles, to choose some wigs for the Australian crossing - in the spirit of 'Priscilla', as you decided ! Then, we have a Thai lunch, and at last, we're on the road. We travel in two Mitsubishi minibuses, listening to loud music. Compass pointed to South East, we avoid the highway to get lost on a sandy track. Cows and sheep look at us, in the middle of golden plains... it's so great to travel !

Our excitation is getting higher, and we suddenly stop for a colored and crazy moment - but click on the pictures and look at the video.

It's the end of the day when we stop the minibuses close to a salted lake. We run, play, shout and jump. We free our energy... we want to be fluid, feel as light and intense as the wind that blows in our ears.

There are still two bottles of wine from Andrew. With little tomatoes and parmesan, the evening should be great under the stars.

We are now writing from a small house, belonging to M. Dave. He rented it for the night. We're in a place called Policemans Point, it seems there are a bit more than ten houses. But it's already late and we feel tired ... Time to go to bed...

Watch the video, now !

THE CHAT

Behind the scenes, what you can certainly imagine when the Car@van is all together for a Chat:

In the beginning, we were all in front of the Pc's screens: "No, write this !" ... "But why did you write this?" ... "Tell them when we met this girl !" ... "Maxmo is right when he says ...".

In this way, the Team couldn't tell anything and many questions were remaining without any answer. Since a while, we chat one after another.

Thus, all of us can express his own feelings and speak frankly with the others. Unfortunately, we'd really like to tell you more, but it's quite hard on the Chat.

That was just to tell you that Chat takes a real part in our trip - Real and Virtual - and that we're happy to be able to share the trip, live from somewhere on our little Planet... as if we were all around a fire, symbol of our community!

Times for chatting with the Car@van:

WED @ 10.00 pm GMT / SUN @ 13.00 pm GMT

Australia: THU @ 7.30 am / SUN @ 10.30 pm

Theo, driving in the middle of the country, murmurs: "We've done a lot of road, but few kilometers".

Vale, handing a red bottle, looking at the sunset, shouts: "Thank you World, for existing!".

The Great Ocean Road

One of the most spectacular roads in Australia. The Great Ocean Road follows 320 km between cliffs and desert beaches, crossing colorful little villages, and ends in Port Campbell.

The Great Ocean Road was built between 1916 and 1932; at first by the soldiers coming back from the first world war, then by the unemployed persons of the great 1920 crisis. The national Park that runs alongside the road was completely destroyed by a huge fire. 72 people died, a hundred of houses were destroyed.

But it's only a bad souvenir today... The Road is more beautiful as ever, we can't wait to be there!

We don't want to tell you. What's for sure is that we'll spend two days disconnected from the Web, but close to the Earth.

The Journal will be back on the 18. Chat on Sunday at 13.00 GMT (22.30 pm in Melbourne).

If you have chance to go through an unknown road this week-end, think about us.

Kisses, dear trip mate !
