Said it...done it! At midnight, we discover the results of vote n°3. We immediately drive to the North, towards Karoo, a wide half-deserted region. What a better destination than the Mountain Zebra National Park to find a zebra and touch its tail? We arrive in the peaceful town of Cradock. Borned in 1813, this ancient english fort was the also the residence of Schreiner, the best-seller writer of 'Story of an african farm'.
Along the shadowed alleys, the big white villas and the Great Fish river, one could feel like in the colonial times...indeed! It's almost impossible to get connected on the net. Here begins the 'hunt for a telephone line' in the warm streets of the old city. At the post office, in the hotels, every one of us searches in different directions. At last, Vale finds 'the treasure' in the backyard of a women's clothes shop.

On the N10, between Addo and Cradock, we give a lift to
several black hitch-hikers...an old habit by now! A strange thing: as on the coast, nobody seemed to notice our camper, everybody says hello in the
lands.

After a fast running training, we will go to the Park, looking for a zebra.
I, Theo, am writing on the roof of the camper. In front
